OMNITREND® is a database-drivenmaintenance software that can beadapted to individual needs byadding a large variety of programextensions. A clear viewThe entire machine park isclearly arranged in a hierarchi-cal tree structure. OMNI-TREND® employs a trafficlight symbol to automaticallymark machines that exhibit ex-cessively high measurementvalues or that have exceeded athreshold value. Thus, you al-ways have a full view of theoverall status of the system andcan focus on the ‘critical’ ma-chines.

Browsing convenienceA simple click on a tree nodewill open a corresponding dia-gram in the right-hand pane ofthe window, letting you quicklybrowse the measurement data.Spectra and time signals can bedisplayed individually or as aMultiView diagram.

Reliable diagnosesWhat is the reason for in-creased vibration, and whatcomponent triggered an alarmmessage? Answers to thesequestions can be found in theamplitude trend of selectedfrequency bands. Damage to acomponent can be identifiedby specific frequency patternsin a spectrum. If the trend inthe monitored bands rises, theuser can immediately identifywhich component is affectedand what damage mechanismsare at work. Frequency-selec-tive monitoring can even beused on machines that operateat variable speeds or variableload conditions.

Expert analysisFor an in-depth analysis of vi-bration signals, cursor andzoom functions are available aswell as an extensive databasewith characteristic damagefrequencies. By superimpos-ing the characteristic frequen-cies on the measured spec-trum, the problem machinecomponents can be readilyidentified.

A look into the futureTrend diagrams show the de-velopment of a machine’s con-dition over a long period. A risein the curve can be extrapolat-ed to predict at what time athreshold value will be exceed-ed. Maintenance measures canthen be planned before ma-chine damage results.
