DA DIRECTED PROMOTION LIST INTEGRATION TO SERGEANT MILPER MSG 05-055 Unclassified Unclassified • This message applies to active Army soldiers only. • E-4’s who have 46 months (TIS) and 10 months (TIG) will be automatically integrated onto the promotion standing list. • The validation of these soldier’s will be a current APFT and a current weapons qualification or exception. • All Soldier’s listed will be given 350 points. • Unit Commander can deny any soldier that they do not want integrated onto the list. (Must be done by 18 Mar 2005). • As of 19 Mar 2005 Soldier’s put on list will be considered as promotable. Points will be effective for 1 Apr 2005. • Unit Retention NCO’s will change the immediate reenlistment code based on this message. Soldier’s who fall within this paragraph will have their RCP

• If a unit inadvertently overlooked a Soldier, and that Soldier was erroneously list integrated, the only way that command can get the Soldier removed from the list is to follow the procedures of AR 600-8-19, ch. 3, para 3-28, automatic removals versus a removal board.
• Soldier’s added to the list in this manner are not eligible for re-computations. Soldier’s wishing to add points for actual accomplishments IAW AR 600-8-19, must be recommended and boarded by their chain of command.
• If a soldier chooses to appear before a board and is not recommended for promotion, they will be removed from the standing list even if they were already integrated onto the list. They must reappear before the promotion board to be reintegrated on the list.

• Soldier’s that fail the promotion board and are removed from the promotion standing list will have their RCP re-adjusted immediately back to 10 years.
MILPER MSG 05-063• If a soldier is denied integration one month, the unit will
have to continue to deny soldiers integration until automation can be tailored to correct redundancy
