Accurate Optics
The D7 optics module connects to the EYE-TRAC® 7 eye tracker to provide you with ASL’s most robust remote desktop eye tracking solution. The D7 optics are designed to quickly and accurately track the gaze position of all par-ticipants from infants to senior citizens, whether wearing eye glasses, soft contacts or no eyewear.
The D7 optics are able to track participants’ re-sponses to a variety of stimuli. Stimuli can be presented on a single stationary surface, such as a computer or video moni-tor, or can be stationary real world objects. The eye tracker allows the participant approximately one square foot of head movement which eliminates the need for head restraint.
Key Advantages
Incredibly fast and simple setup.
Quick and easy calibration of participants.
The only head free solution that uses bright pupil technol-ogy, giving superior capture and contrast.
Rapid and accurate head movement compensation.
Automated fea-tures with manual overrides for chal-lenging partici-pants.
Versatility in stimulus display devices – monitor, TV, pro-jected image, even real world objects.
Displays eye and scene images on a single monitor with real time constant feedback throughout entire track-ing session (as point of gaze on scene image and feature recognition indicators on eye im-age).
Flexible system configu-ration with interchange-able optics minimizes future obsolescence.
The EYE-TRAC 7 system can communicate with external devices via a local area network (LAN).

Convenient and Accurate Output
A digital recording of this image can be created as a perma-nent record. Recorded data includes time, x and y eye
position coordinates, and pupil diameter. External data event markers can be recorded along with eye tracker data. Eye position coordinates correlate to specific areas on the surface being viewed.
D7 remote optics include a video head tracker which provides a wide angle view of the head and does not require any equipment to be placed on the participant.
The EYE-TRAC® 7 operating software provides the system op-erator with the ability to enter calibration and participant data and specify the operating parameters of the D7 optics. The provided software also converts data to text format for input to spreadsheets or other third party applications. Real-time digital data is available directly from the EYE-TRAC 7 via a local area network (LAN).
Optional Equipment
The ASL EYE-TRAC 7 offers a wide range of eye tracking con-figuration options, providing the greatest flexibility for your research requirements today and tomorrow.
Interchangeable optics offer versatility in selec-tion of appropriate eye tracking camera optics for your research needs. Eas-ily change from remote to head mounted optics (shown here) or to long range optics for fMRI and MEG environments.
System components and software can be shared among col-laborators for greater allocation of time, funding, and re-sources.
Training and Technical Support
ASL is committed to assisting researchers before, during and after the eye tracking data acquisition.
Unlimited technical support and free access to updates on the interface software are available at all times. Multiple licenses of the interface soft-ware are available at no addi-tional charge.
We offer scheduled training at our Bedford, MA (Boston) loca-tion for the life of the equipment. On site training is also avail-able. Please visit our website for online training sessions as well.
