NABL
NABL accreditation is a formal recognition of the technical competence of testing, calibration or medical laboratory for a specific task following ISO/IEC 17025:2005Standard. Accredited laboratories have the responsibility of satisfying the criteria oflaboratory accreditation at all times, which are verified during Surveillance and Re-assessment visits by NABL. Further the accredited laboratories should prove theirtechnical competence by satisfactory participation in recognized Proficiency TestingProgrammes.
L&Ts Switchgear Testing Lab is NABL accredited subject to continued satisfactorycompliance to above standard& additional requirementsofNABL.
Alldsine range ofMCCBs are testedin L&T'sNABL accredited Switchgear TestingLab.
IECEE CBSCHEME DEKRA (KEMA)certified
The IECEE CB SCHEME is a multilateral agreement among participating countries andcertification organizations. A manufacturer utilizing a CB test certificate issued by oneof the accepted National Certification Bodies (NCBs) can obtain certification marks ofthe latter, within their scope of adherence, in the countries where the accepted NCBsare located.
L&Ts dsine range of MCCBs are certified for IECEE CB scheme by DEKRA (KEMA) whichis a world renowned organisation with a heritage of 150 years in testing, inspections &certification, risk managementandverification.

marking
A CE marking is a European marking of conformity that indicates a product complieswith the essential requirements of the applicable European laws or directives withrespect to safety, health and environment and consumer protection. Generally, thisconformity to the applicable directives is done through self-declaration and is requiredon products in the countries of the European Economic Area (EEA) to facilitate tradeamong the member countries. The manufacturer or their authorized representativeestablished in the EEA is responsible for affixing the CE marking to their product. TheCE marking provides a means for a manufacturer to demonstrate that a productcomplies with a common set of laws required by all countries in the EEA to allow freemovement of trade withintheEEAcountries.
L&Ts dsine range of MCCBs conform to the Low voltage directive 73/23/EEC asamended by directive 93/68/EEC, provided if it is used in the application for which it ismade and is installed and maintained in accordance with professional practices withrelevant installation standards andoperating instructions.

MTX releases are designed with protection classCTs which measure true RMS values. Inbuiltcurrent metering does not require separate CTshence maintenance is no more tedious.
O-LED display allows the operator a wideviewing angle
O-LEDs showing current metering has got fasterresponse time and also consumes less power, saves more energy. It has better contrast ratioalso

Inbuilt Earth FaultProtection
Thermal Memory
Inbuilt earth fault protection function does not require any separate trip coil & external CBCT, thuspanel space, cost & improving the overall hygiene. Earth fault protection limits expenses by preventingdamageto other equipment.
Thermal memory protects the system from thermal stresses generated by cumulative heating caused bycyclic overload conditions thus allowingthesystemto returnto a safe operatingtemperature. This functionalso allows an optimization of cables or bus bar protection in case of low amplitude repetitive faults.Advancetripping increasestheoverall life andeliminates theproduction downtime incaseof severefaults.
Enhances adjustability for better enhanced coordination with other devices to achieve correct motorswitchingandensures protection of thestarter elements inorder toguaranteetheplant safety.
Overload & short circuit settings with minimum step change helps to maintain balance between nuisancetripping and optimal protection resulting in high continuity of service and reduced call back periods. MTXreleasecanbe adaptedtospecific requirementsof OEMorend-user.
DIP switches are provided on front side of the release for easy operations. These switches give you quickeroptiontoprecisely changeselection, offeringhigh life.
Improves uptime and productivity by setting alarms for unbalanced loads so that proactive measures canbe taken toavoidoverload conditions.
MTXreleasesdonot needany externalpower supplyhence require noextra devices and wires topower up.

Advanced features of MTX3.0
One of the first steps towards energy efficiency is energy and power measurement. In MTX3.0 release, inaddition to current & voltage measurement, active, reactive and apparent energy & power can also bemeasured. Thiswouldenable monitoring energy at individual feeder level and thus help in implementingeffective energy management practices in the plant. Moreover, using communication module, differentparameters readingscanbe viewedondisplay module.

Reverse Phase:
This function detects the phase reversal of current fromthe set sequence. It is especially important in motorfeederapplications
One can set the direction of power flow in a system fromsource to load and in case the direction of power flowreverses, thereversepower protection canbe activatedtotrip the system. This is especially important in a DG set orina ringmains system.
ReversePower:
MTX3.0 release measures the frequency, power factor andoffers protection against leading and lagging values therebyassisting in maintaining the power quality. This releasemeasuresTHD of current& voltages and gives analarm / trip incase it exceeds theset thresholds.
Power Quality Control
Communication Capable
Most advanced release of MTX series, MTX3.0 is communication capable on MODBUS RTU network. Using
MODBUS com module the MCCB release can be connected to a Personal Computer. All metering values of
MCCB can be read and changed remotely. These releases are alsomade compatible withHMI (Human Machine

MCCBs for Different Applications
DC Application
DC power distribution is an upcoming technology in this modern era due to its most rigorous networkpower applicationssuch as
AC-DC Power System
DC-DC Converter Systems
DC-ACInverterSystems
DC UPS
Batteries & Accessories
Solutiontoalternativeenergy-SolarPower
We offer dsine MCCBs for the protection of DC systems in variety of current ratings from 20A-630A, voltageratings upto 500V andvarious breaking capacities ranging from 5kAto36kA.
Switching of DC currents is much severe phenomenon than switching AC currents due to non occurrence
of natural zero. Hence DC MCCBs are desired to give less breaking capacity than AC MCCBs for the samevoltage & currents. As per the earthing of the system, we recommend following connections for breakingthe fault currents.
Any one polarity is earthed Midpoint of the system is earthed No earthing
Earthed system Insulated system
No. of poles required toperform the break must
be in series on one polarity
No. of poles required toperform the break mustbe on both the polarities
No. of poles required toperform the break can be

Automatic Transfer Controller
The AuXC-1000 controller brings simplicity and flexibility to an auto source transfer system. It has beendeveloped to control and supervise the automatic or manual transfer of a utility load from a principalpower supply source to a stand-by and vice-versa. It sets a new benchmark in Auto Source Transfer SwitchController technology. It includes all the necessary features to supervise and control power supply sources, composed by energy distribution systems or generating sets, and the relative transfer equipment, such ascontactors, motorizedmoulded case circuit breakers andaircircuit breakers.

With the under-voltagerelease de-energized, it is not possible to close the MCCB. UV release canalsobe used for interlocking schemes(for DG synchronization, paralleling of transformersetc) also.
