INFO AND TIPSRemember to use a separate skein of yarn for each layer of color.When you change the colors, cross the threads stretching them (on the wrong side of theknitting) to avoid holes.Stitches used:Rib stitch - k2, p2,Rib stitch - k1, p1,Stockinette stitch: p in odd rows, k in even rows.

BODYBack pieceWith 4 mm (US 6) knitting needles and color Black 07, CO 102 (112) 122) sts.Work 10 (12) 12 rows in rib stitch (k2, p2).Change to 5 mm (US 8) needles and to color Anthracite 06.Work 8 (8) 10 rows in stockinette stitch.In the 9th (9th) 11th row of stockinette stitch, work the first 10 (10) 15 sts, the next stitch startsthe pattern of the first sheep, i.e. its leg.Continue to work according to the chart.The distance between sheep counting from the first leg of one to the first leg of the next is21 (22) 22 sts, and the row ends with 5 (6) 6 sts left.After a whole pattern of sheep, work 8 (8) 10 more rows.Continue the sheep pattern 5 (6) 6 times this way, making sure they are evenly over eachother.Over the last row of sheep, work 4 more rows.Then, for the neckline, BO 22 (24) 24 sts in the middle and after that, in every 2nd rowsuccessively 3 sts and 2 sts. Close the remaining stitches on the shoulders = 24 (27) 32 stson every shoulder.

Front PieceMake as the back piece but over the last row of sheep make only 1 row before starting theneckline.Continue as for the back piece making sure the number of rows over the last row of sheep isthe same on the front and back of the sweater.

SLEEVESWith 4 mm (US 6) knitting needles and color Black 07, CO 44 sts.Work 15 rows in rib stitch (k2, p2).For M and L size only: every 8 sts increase 1 st (1 edge st, inc, 8 sts, inc) = 50 sts.Change to 5 mm (US 8) needles and to color Anthracite 06.Work 6 (6) 8 rows in stockinette stitch.In the next row start to work the sheep pattern.When working the sleeve, throughout the whole length, inc in every 5th row 1 st on bothsides of the piece.Because of the number of sts it is possible to make only two sheep. The sts you add widenthe sleeve at the sides. Be careful that, as with the other parts of the sweater, the sheep areevenly over each other.For S size: work 5 sts, the first leg of the sheep, 2 sts, the second leg of the sheep, 21 sts, thefirst leg of the second sheep, 2 sts, the second leg of the second sheep, 9 sts.For M and L size: work 9 sts, the first leg of the sheep, 2 sts, the second leg of the sheep, 22sts, the first leg of the second sheep, 2 sts, the second leg of the second sheep, 13 sts.When you have finished the sheep pattern, work 8 (8) 10 more rows.Repeat 4 (5) 5 times, keeping in mind the changing number of sts in every 5th row beforeand after the sheep pattern.BO all sts on the sleeve.

FINISHINGSew parts of the sweater together with mattress stitch.On circular needles 4 mm (US 6) and color Black 07, CO 54 (58) 58 sts.Work 16 rnds in rib stitch (k1, p1), BO.Fold the rib in half and sew with a backstitch from the wrong side.
