DAY IN THE PARK 2015 December Although it started out as a “Silent Night” and a little rainy, everyone was “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree” after Santa finished the countdown the night of Tree Lighting. With over 12,000 new pixilated lights on 50-foot tree, it was awesome to see the tree, all the tree pits lining the sidewalks and lighted necklaces across the street choreographed to music (only 200,000 light bulbs – but who’s counting). The holidays are a magical time of year and we continue to add new elements to create a “Winter Wonderland” for our guests. If you were not able to make it to Tree Lighting, each night on the half-hour from 5:30 to 9:30pm sing “O Christmas Tree” to enjoy the show! Kids love to window shop at Crocker Park and add items to their list. Once the list is a mile long, stop on over to the MetroHealth Santa House and see if they’ve made the nice or naughty list. If the kiddos are hungry, enjoy $5 Merry Meals in thanks to the food kiosks. Choo-Choo….the Lake Ridge Academy Holiday Express Train will be traveling throughout East and West Park. What is the one place you can count on for snow everyday – the Bob Gillingham Snow Globe – capture the holiday spirit with a nice photo in the globe. Social media is blowing up with the new Tree Garden in West Park. Guests have been enjoying strolling the 100-foot boardwalk with 40 hoop lights and over 40 holiday trees. We would like to thank the following tenants for helping to decorate the trees: Massage Heights, Rocky Mountain Chocolate, Morgan Stanley, Charles Scott, Learning Express, European Wax, Zoup!, Chicos, Bath & Body Works and Brio. Have you seen the holiday windows – the snorkeling elves might make you a little jealous – especially if it is snowing. Enjoy shopping at the Holiday Market and children will be in awe of the Toy Train Town presented by St. Edward High School and Lakewood Catholic Academy. Stop by 87 West for their new hot chocolate bar and s’mores! And, as you enjoy a meal at Yard House, enjoy the new 28-foot Holiday Tree presented by Horseshoe Casino. As you plan for the holiday meals, be sure to visit the North Union Farmers Market sponsored by St. John Medical Center to buy local and fresh in West Park on Saturdays from 9am-1pm through December 19th. Sign up now for the new 2016 Resolution 5K Run on Friday, January 1st, 2016 benefitting the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. What a perfect way to kick off the New Year with a commitment to health and wellness! The event will begin at 11am and many runners will come back and enjoy an afternoon of showing, dining and watching the bowl games! In case you missed it, we had a few new tenants officially open in November (Michael Kors, Sur la Table, Yard House, Orvis and Carhartt) and a few more slated to open in December (lululemon Athletica, Homage and Lush). A few more tenants will be announced in the coming months… stayed tuned! On behalf of the entire Crocker Park management staff, have a happy and safe holiday season! PAUL BOULEY: As Director of Security, Paul has the opportunity to work with tenants, residents,

guests for many great reasons and the occasional not so great reason. Paul

and his team help with fire alarm testing, parking meters, road closures for

special events, working with the City of Westlake Police and Fire Departments,

and much more.

Paul has been here 12 years and served in the USAF for 10 years as a police

officer to include (3) tours in the Gulf War, Philippines, Iceland, and Las Vegas.

He helps perform the testing of the fire and sprinkler systems, run the Violations

Bureau, and the contracted security staff.

Fun facts: he keeps quarters in his pocket just in case for his parking meter, he

brings at least 10 magazines to the Fantasy Football draft, if he did not work at

Crocker park – he would iron clothes for a living, he enjoys attending baseball

games anywhere, he said if he has to work on New Year’s Day – he might as

well just run the new Resolution 5K Run….his resolution will to not have to work

January 1, 2017! Paul lives in Cleveland, happily married and enjoys coaching

his daughter’s softball and volleyball teams.
