Cycling.

The first cycling competitive test was

on 31st of May 1868 on a small circuit

of 1200 metres in the Saint- Cloud'spark, in the outskirts of Paris, 7

cyclists participated and it was wonby the British James Moore with a

bycicle made of wood and iron

wheels.

Cycling, is a physical exercise that uses abicycle to ride indoor and outdoor.

There are a lot of types of cycling, like cyclingindoor, cycling outdoor, trial, rode cycling, mountain

bike, cyclo-cross , bmx ...

|1.1 Le tour de la France.

The Tour de France is a well-known

bicycle race. It is held in France, every summer.In recent years it has

ended with a race through

the centre of Paris, pastthe Eiffel tower. It is

among the most famous,and has some of the

highest prizes, of bike

races in Europe. Recently,

it was in the media,because some athleteswere doping. The race

goes around France, but

can have some parts inother countries like England, Belgium, or Spain

as they race in the Pyrenees mountains.The tour

lasts about three weeks. At the end of each day's

race the leader is given a yellow shirt, the bestsprinter is given a green shirt,

and the best rider in the

mountain races is given a polkadot jersey. He is sometimes

called the King of theMountains. The best young

rider, who must be under 25,

gets a white jersey. The winner

is the one who finishes the raceto Paris in the fastest time.There is a lot of prize money for

the teams of the winners of the

Tour, but the winner of eachday's race also gets prize money.

The Vuelta a Espaa is an annual multiple stage bicycle race primarily held in Spain, while

also occasionally making passes through nearby countries. Inspired by the success of the Girod'Italia and the Tour de France, the race was first organized in 1935. The race has been heldannually since 1955.[1] As the

Vuelta gained prestige andpopularity the race was lengthened

and its reach began to extend all

around the globe. Since 1979,the event has been staged and

managed by Unipublic. Thepeloton expanded from a

primarily Spanish participation;

riders from all over the worldparticipate in the race each year.

The Vuelta is a UCI World Tourevent, which means that the teams

that compete in the race are mostly

UCI ProTeams, with the exception of the teams that the organizers caninvite.
