2. Cyber bullying is when a child, pre-teen or adolescent is
tormented, harassed, threatened, or humiliated by another child,
preteen, or teen using the Internet, interactive and digital
technologies or mobile phones.
What is Cyber Bullying?

3. Who is a Cyber Bully?
In order to be considered cyber bullying there must be a child on
both sides, or at least have been instigated by a minor against
another minor. Once adults become involved it is cyber harassment
or cyber stalking. Adult cyber harassment or cyber stalking are
never referred to as cyber bullying.

4. Cyber Bullying takes many forms:

5. Dangers of Cyber Bullying
Cyber Bullying can be very dangerous to adolescents and teens, and
leaves deep emotional scars. It can lead to anxiety, depression,
and even suicide.

7. Teens may think that if they use a fake name they wont get
caught,
but there are many ways to track someone who is cyber
bullying.

Consequences of Cyber Bullying
9. Girls are more likely than boys to be involved in cyber
bullying.

10. Most states do not currently have laws specific to cyber
bullying.

AWARENESS is the best prevention for cyber bullying.
