The Millennium Leadership Program identifies, engages, and connects the next generation of global leaders (ages 2535) with each other and a network of senior experts to reshape the international policy landscape. Progressive Advancement: Began as an intern, promoted four times, became Associate Director in January 2015. Substantive Research and Writing: Analyzed and written on international security topics ranging from energy and environmental issues to global entrepreneurship and economic development to NATO expansion and deployment. Project Management: Coordinated six largescale programs on four continents, including: Entrepreneur Rising, reality TV show in India – coordinated 75 staff across 5 partner organizations, and $150,000 of contracts and equipment, including booking, liaising with, and leading all scheduling and operational planning for: Talent (celebrity hosts, contestants, judges, sponsors and VIP’s, and special guest “experts”); Production and film crew (makeup artists, technical and film crew, and directors and PA’s); and Shoot logistics and operations (set construction, venue negotiation and selection, and transportation). NATO Design Thinking Exercise – Conceived, organized, and led an 8hour design thinking exercise with 60 participants from 24 countries yielding a published policy paper and strategic recommendations for NATO. 4 international fellowship programs – coordinated 615 personnel, +200 fellows, budget of $775,000, and recruited over 200 young leaders from over 45 countries, including elected officials and CEO’s from Forbes top 40 under 40 list. 3 web series – coordinated production and release of over 100 videos in French, Arabic, and English. Entrepreneurship and Business Development: Developed, launched, and expanded new and innovative Atlantic Council projects by proactively securing funding and support through proposals and creative marketing campaigns. Contributed to over $1 million of new revenue and led proposal writing teams resulting in over $500,000. Played a key role developing and launching the Millennium Leadership Program in 2015 Developed, secured funding for, and launched Arctic Ambassadors Fellowship in 2013 and NATO Exercise in 2015 Logistics and Operations: All operational and administrative support for +25 events in +20 cities and +10 countries Web and Analytics: Led online outreach and strategy, including designing 3 online platforms: Designed a pointdriven Facebook app credited with growing social media and publications output by over 500%. Ran an online voting campaign that generated over 150,000 views and over 23,000 votes in 2 weeks. Designed and launched online investment portal and resource center for entrepreneurs in North Africa. INTERN: AMERICAN ISLAMIC CONGRESS (AIC); CAIRO, EGYPT (05/2010 – 09/2010) AIC is an international nonprofit advocacy organization promoting democratic governance and interfaith tolerance that works primarily with students to transform youth into agents of social change. Conceptualized and implemented AIC’s first interfaith debate, broadcast live on Radio Freedom.
