Product design experience:
Conceptualized and prototyped UBI - A device that can turn any flat surface
in to an interactive screen.
Key achievements:
● Principal investigator for proof of concept project proposal titled
UBI-An ubiqutous social computing platform.
● The proposal was endorsed by NTU's Innovation & Technology Transfer
Office(ITTO) and submitted to Singapore National Research fund for
funding.
● Formed a team of three members with expertise in enterprise software,
web design, game design, hardware design and business modelling.
● Formed a vendor network for pilot build. Created avenues for
commercial partnership and funding.
● A self funded fully functional prototype was built and showcased to
media communication companies.
NGO Work and Hobbies:
● Co-organized a charity fund raiser music show for “Mahila action” (an
Indian NGO) in October 2009. Funds from the event helped to support
education for six students.
● Lead guitarist/violinist in a fusion band called Downtown South.
● I experiment with different musical genres. I have a home recording
and mixing studio.
