Duties/Responsibilities:

Working as local IT-in-charge under global IT team as well as Operations (Logistics, Supply Chain etc.) –in-charge under Tchibo Merchandising HK.

Have local administrator access for all IT & operations works. Monitor, analyze and report on server, firewalls, manageable switches,

NVR, IP camera, Intranet and Internet, VC operation, IP telephones, Windows Phone, Tchibo specified cloud services etc.

Manage scheduled backups for the servers as well the users’ data. Manage the user accounts in local AD. Monitor and send report to Hong Kong and Germany on DHCP server,

Mail server, Proxy server, FTP server, DNS server, Active Directory server, Print server, VPN access in schedule time.

To identify and analyze hardware & software problems and take necessary steps for immediate solution as well as provide regular updates to the users so that users can work uninterrupted.

Office Relocation Project: I had plan, design, develop, source and procure different things for office relocation not only IT goods but also office items. I also had to design, develop and implement IT networks as well as electrical power layout for the whole office during the project.

Data center: I had to design, develop, source and procure the server room equipment and make an international standard data center including fire safety & EMS.

Internet Service Upgradation Project: I had to source, negotiate, procure and implement to upgrade the network (internet and WifI) facility for the office. It was upgraded from 2 mbps to 25 mbps for WiFi and 2 mbps to 25 mbps for cabled network with two different vendors. In addition, IP telephony bandwidth was upgraded from 1 mbps to 5 mbps.

Windows Migration Project: I had to source, procure and install new SSD HDD for all user laptops and migrate OS from Windows XP to Windows 8.1 for all the users. During this project, I had to source and implement country specific software for all users.

Secure Printing Solution Project: I had to communicate, negotiate and implement Xerox Secure Printing Solution on monthly rental basis.

MDM Project: Mobile Device Management project for all windows mobile and iOS.

Logistics Process Development & Implementation: On progress. Coordinating suppliers, logistics vendor and Tchibo authorities for the project.

Grameenphone HQ printer deployment project: I had to deploy, commission, install and configure HP multifunctional printers (total 52 units) with secure printing solution.

BACH project : I had to I had to deploy, commission, install and configure HP servers in 11 banks including HSBC, SCB, SIBL, IFIC etc. There I also had to install and configure the cheque scanners (Panini).

Ericsson Bangladesh Delvistaa project: I had to deploy, commission, install and configure all HP servers, switches, routers, multifunctional printers, take library and other networking accessories for their new site. Also setup the racks for network products.

Lafarge GFI projects: I had to deploy, install and configure HW for online fax solution using GFI Faxmaker. Also installed and configure GFI EventManager for checking and generating report of all the servers of Lafarge in different sites.

Apollo Hospital Arcserve Solution project: As a product manager of CA Arcserve, I had to do the marketing, negotiation, sales, implementation and support to Apollo Hospital, Bangladesh.
