A) Project Title: New Interface Design and Development ProjectProject Details: The customer (Healthcare and Life Science) wanted to build an interface to transfer the files using FTP (File Transfer Protocol) from AS400 server (IFSC Folder) to other servers (based on different OS,

like WINDOWS). In this project I have worked as a Technical Consultant and Developer by Designing, advising, writing, testing, debugging the programs and made Documentation as well.

I have driven the project single handed. Here I have designed the Interface and given the presentation to the customer and got their confidence to build up a flexible automated Interface which will not only send the files across the specific servers and place it to a specific place/folder and also notify the user about the status with meaningful message at the end of the program execution and moving the file within the IFSC folder accordingly for archive.

Worked with European Customer Analysis, Design, Presentation, Development, Testing, Debugging etc. Given the Presentation to the Customer and get the acceptance of the

design. Keeping the FTP log and work with it to get to know about the status of

the transfer or nature of the error. Responsible for documentations. Go-Live and Post Go-Live Support.

B) Project Title: Enhancement, Maintenance/Support ProjectProject Details: The customer (Multinational Retail Company) wanted to make some enhancement and as well as wanted to maintain and get the support of their existing JDE WorldSoft ERP system in daily basis. In this project, my job is to understand the client’s needs, gathering information and execute it properly by analysing, advising, writing, testing, debugging, troubleshooting the programs for enhancement related assignments and as well as keep the co-ordination between offshore (India) guys. Apart from this trained the Offshore people with technical skill, leading a complete Development Project team and as well as Managing the Security team. At the maintenance and support related job, the job is keep the system stable, help offshore people technically and as well as keep the good relationship with clients directly on daily basis.

On the Enhancement part, I have made many programs which helped to reduce the number of tickets used to come to team to resolve.

Hook Program: It is a kind of a program which is completely customized in the system. These programs are attached to the specific fields of the file and at the each and every run/query on the file these programs gets fired automatically and depends on the logic the particular fields get populated. This kind of programs used on interface.

Developed the program which will trigger an email to some particular email ids when a job runs more than usual time.

On the Maintenance and Support part, keep monitoring the jobs; look after the incidents logged by the users and the SMEs on day to day basis.

Research on the Version clean up activity: Customer wanted to Archive/Delete versions irrespective of the System use i.e. Dream Writer Version, World Writer, STAR, FASTR depends on some certain conditions. Here I have researched and found out the way to do this activity to Archive and get the versions to the live environment from Archive when it’s required with minimal effort and how to delete the versions which are not at all required to be in the system. This activity will be done on the single or multiple number of versions depends on the scenarios in a single cycle, this means, it does not required to run this cycle multiple times for each and every of version of particular form id and even on the system use. This process (one single cycle) includes all the system use (DWV, WW, FASTR, STAR) if require.This above researched has been done and executed by me successfully.

Trained 4 people with the technical JDE WorldSoft knowledge from the basic level and helped them to reach up to that standard to become a developer and pursue a development/upgrade project(s).

Worked as an Onsite Technical Lead. Led a development offshore team, consists of 3 people. Here I have led the full team from Onsite (London), by Requirement Gathering, distribution the work to the team accordingly, make the people understand about the requirement, managed to deal with other’s challenges by meeting with the people in India and with the clients in London depends on the circumstances, apart from this code, all kind of documentation review, manage the delivery till to production promotion of the objects.

Managed 8 people AM team who looked after the Security part of the client JDE WorldSoft ERP system. Here team deals with the incidents raised by the client side user. Here I have completely manage this existing team for Europe region and helped them to decrease the total number of the incidents log and as well as reduced the number of incidents by proposing, consulting and creating a process to reduce the same kind of incidents/issues logged/faced by the business users and this way I have managed to ease the pressure from the team and also reduce the workload of them as well. Apart from this, on daily basis completely mentored the incidents queue of each one of the team and on basis on the circumstances/challenges successfully dealt with the customers.

C) Project Title : Upgrade ProjectProject Details: The customer (Multinational Energy & Natural Utility Giant) wanted to upgrade their existing JDE WorldSoft ERP system from version 7.3 to 9.1. In this project I worked as a Technical Consultant by analysing, advising, writing, testing, debugging, troubleshooting the programs and made Documentation as well.

I have worked on the Finance Module where the client needs to customize the JDE standard programs, like Customer Ledger Inquiry program, Receipt Entry Program, Credit Check etc.

Customer Ledger Inquiry (JDE Standard Program) (P032002): Added multiple fields for filter the data on the Customer Ledger inquiry screen and a custom file link to this, which have more transaction details. This custom file’s data can be Added, Changed, Deleted, and Inquired through this program and as well as the Customer Ledger Inquiry Screen filters out the records depends on this existence of that same in the Custom file.

Credit Check Program (JDE Standard Program) (P42050): Added Available Amount and Toggle to find the Parent# of that particular Customer# and the program will do the auto inquiry.

Other than these, I have written new programs from scratch, retro-fitment and implementing new logics to the existing batch and interactive programs. Also I have provided suggestion and executed properly the conversion of Interactive programs to Batch and used less number of objects than before to make the program more effective with minimal user intervene to program.
