Luis has over three years of experience in H&PS working between EMR implementations and Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment DSRIP program. He has served as the main charge capture liaison on multiple Epic Revenue and Clinical implementations, and has also served as the tech data lead for a DSRIP project. Luis has displayed his ability to learn new concepts quickly and provide high quality deliverables with his innovation and problem solving skills. Luis is an engineer with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Industrial Engineering.

Partners Healthcare (Epic Clinical Cycle implementation)CDM Charge Capture Consultant & Project ManagerLuis served as the Charge Capture liaison across the project. He used his innovative thinking and problem solving skills to lead the Epic clinical, interface, and supply charge testing efforts. He managed stakeholder meetings, client resources, and was critical to the design, build, test, and deployment of the Epic implementation at three of the largest hospitals in the Partners network. During go-live and post go-live, Luis led the CDM team composed of ten resources in mitigating high impact issues and also met with key stakeholders to report status and provide guidance. Lastly, he developed and executed a training program for new project resources in order to improve implementation processes.

Partners Healthcare (Epic Revenue Cycle implementation)CDM Charge Capture Consultant Luis collaborated with the client CDM manager to lead the Epic charge capture build, testing, and deployment for two Epic Revenue Cycle EMR implementations at Newton Wellesley hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. He led and managed multiple testing efforts while consistently meeting with stakeholders to provide status updates. In addition, he was a critical resource for driving issue mitigation and the overall success of Epic go live events at multiple hospitals.

Albany Medical Center DSRIP NY ProgramTech Consultant Luis worked with a strategy team of eight resources to develop and deliver task and finance estimates for a technology project plan that spanned 18 months. He also performed a current state technology assessment by leading the survey data analysis and conducting technology interviews at multiple hospitals and affiliates.
