I am an experienced engineer/fitter with over 4 years experience, I am considered to be a highlymotivated individual with an ambition to work in the engineering trade, I am also an enthusiastic andreliable team player used to working long hours whilst being under pressure and having deadlines tomeet. Areas of expertise include mechanical engineering and hydraulic systems. Currently working in themanufacturing industry.

Career History

Production Operator - Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics 10/08/2015 - PresentPart of a production team making specialist components for health care diagnostics machines, tasksinclude:-

· Stock control, task management, basic maintenance and modification of standard operatingprocedures.

· Following health and safety regulations and COSSH assessments to ensure a safe working code ofpractice.

· Ensuring all products adhere to GMP guidelines and QC policies.

Vehicle Mechanic (B) - HM Forces (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers) 2011- 25/08/2015· Working within vehicle support role - tasks include servicing, scheduled maintenance and

modifications.· Delivering mechanical and technical support to specialist Electronic Warfare Regiment as part of

15 person strong fitter section.

· Worked in Canada in January 2013 as part of British Army winter repair programme on a largescale maintenance programme, this involved undertaking mechanical fitting and servicing on alltypes of military vehicles e.g. Land rover and armoured vehicles.

· Deployed on Herrick 18 and 19 (Afghanistan) as part of specialist Electronic fitter team installingup to £200m worth of modifications and new fits to vital equipment to help minimize the threatof Explosive Devices.

Team Member (Car Valeter) - Haliwell Jones North Wales BMW 2010 – 2011· Worked as part of 3 man team at North Wales largest BMW dealership valeting customer’s

vehicles, ensuring they were delivered to the highest standard and on time. Learnt skills in stockaccounting and ordering materials for the dealership.

Key Achievements· Part of Olympic security team in London 2012 Games working closely with civilian counterparts

to ensure that it was a safe Olympic Games duties included vehicle searching and use of baggagex-ray machines.

· Tour of Afghanistan – Part of Electronic Counter Measure Fitter team upgrading wholevehicle fleet in Afghanistan within time and to budget. Whilst in this role I learned vitaladditional skills understanding technical drawings and electronic diagrams as well asupdating electrical systems. Both these tasks got me used to working under pressure anddelivering to a time scale.

Interests & Activity’s

Outside of work I enjoy attending the gym on a regular basis, watching rugby and football and hillwalking. I enjoy seeing friends and family when I can.I have a passion for travel and enjoy challenges I relish at learning new things.
