Familiar with the following QA/QC Scope: Documentation: - Preparing WPSs (Welding Procedure Specifications), PQRs (Procedure Qualification Records) and WPQs (Welder Performance Qualifications) & Check Specifications (Year and Revision) - Preparing Weld Map & ITP (Inspection & Test Plan) and Review Fabrication Drawings - Material Verifications as per Procurement Order (P.O.) and Reviewing of Mill Test Certificate (MTC) and MTRs/Lab Reports for traceability and conformance to mechanical /chemical properties in accordance with applicable Codes, Standards & Client Spec. Requirements - Validate Calibration Certificates of Welding Equipment & Inspection Instruments

Incoming Material Inspection: Dimensional & Visual Inspection and Lamination Test (if required) Welder Qualification: Witness Welder Qualification tests in association with approved WPS Inspection before Welding: - Check welding equipment and all related ancillaries (cables, regulators, ovens) - Check welding consumables for size, condition, specification and storage - Check layout/marking for cutting of materials - Check fit-up & preparation of the joints (relevant bevel angles, root face, root gap, etc.) as per the detailed drawing and WPS - Dimensional inspection & monitor all tack welding - Check method of preheat (if applicable) & pre-welding distortion control

Inspection during Welding: - Check amperage, voltage, polarity & travel Speed - Check welding technique & weld direction - Ensure qualified welders are performing welding efficiently and in the specified welding time - Ensure adequate inter pass cleaning & inter pass temperature

Inspection after Welding: - Check weld dimensions, contour & width - Carry out visual welding inspections & Ensure post weld cleaning (arc strikes, spatters) - Check PWHT (if applicable) and Review PWHT Charts & Specifications - Witness & Evaluation of Non Destructive Examinations and Destructive tests of weld samples - Mark up repair areas and Monitor & Control the welding repair - Checking of Sand Blasting & Inspection on Painting to meet required microns
