MY MOTIVATION DAVID BOS
David Bos also known as ABSENT has been active in the music industry for a couple of years. He strated making music after he found out that his education in nursing didn’t ask for enough creativity. David Bos doesn’t only practices the art of producing, but also of composing. He additionally plays the piano, whereas he is not the only one in the family playing the piano. During his present education at the PACT+ in Amsterdam, David Bos uses his freedom to master the art of producing and composing.
David Bos is quite experimental, you can not put his music into a couple of genres. It’s a blend of styles, combined with his own characteristic sound. When producing a song he always has a story/feeling/vibe in mind that he wants to convey to the public. He is always open for new ideas and thinks out of the box.
In 2019 ABSENT released his debut album, called ‘FAR OUT’. His own musical vision is put into work in this album. ‘In FAR OUT I’ve completely lost myself in the experiment. Everything that I found interesting in the process, I have put into this album. That’s why a lot of songs don’t fit into one specific genre.’, thus David Bos. He wants to focus more on the combination of playing live piano music with his own productions.
