A) Operations Management
Overall in-charge of Marine Operation of FPSO including Operation of Cargo Pumps and Ballast pumps, offtake activities and tank inerting operation. Ensure adequate vessel stability maintained at all times. Documentation and FPSO reports as required by client. All marine activities with support vessel for FPSO. Monitoring of vessels position and vessels movement around turret. Support OIM and HSE officer in implementing and reviewing of Facility Safety Management system. Regular checking of all Rigging equipment which include Crane wires, Shackles, Frogs etc. Maintenance of Helicopter facility and Helicopter operation. Surveying of Nav Aids.
Monitoring adherence to Charter Parties and fulfilling the contractual agreements As a Chief Officer on a Oil tankers, implementing maintenance programs, so as to increase output of men and
machinery. Carrying out effective voyage management by diligent implementation of Charterer’s instructions, preparing for
audits/inspections, inventory management, purchasing etc. Making available all necessary Cargo and maintenance requirements, for vessel management. Effective implementation of company policies. Carrying out training program for crew onboard.
Have worked on Various Cargo Systems – Conventional Tankers with Centrifugal Pumps, Vacstrip Systems .
Planned Maintenance System Managing planned maintenance system . Recommending changes on existing system. Keeping the system updated and ready for audits/inspections.
B) Quality Management Systems
Overseeing and directing implementation of Safety & Quality management. Monitoring and improving performance KPIs on continual basis. Ensuring compliance to QHSE regulations as per IMO, MARPOL, Flag State, Oil Majors, SIRE, Vetting, Company,
ISGOTT, OCIMF, USCG, and Classification Bodies. Planning and executing company policies and maintaining standards including communications, operations,
environment, safety, and HR policies. Carrying out onboard training on various operational subjects. Preparing Vessel for Internal and External ISM & ISPS Audits Preparing vessel for MARPOL Audits as per Enhanced Compliance Program. Preparing Vessel for USCG, AMSA & Extended PSC Inspections. Preparing Vessel for SIRE Inspections.
C) Safety Operations
Maintaining vessels in compliance with Flag State, Class and Port State regulations & requirements. Supervising Safety & Security Systems as well as executing Quality Audit. Planning emergency drills and contingency operations with master. All emergency equipment maintained and kept ready for use. Keeping maintenance records of all emergency items.
