mapping
EnERgETiC CURiOSiTYThis was a regional analysis map, for the east coast of Lincolnshire. The purpose of this mapping was to show the extent of brink energy and infrastructure that was emerging in the horizon. in particular the transition from fossil fuel towards offshore renewable wind energy to meet EU 2020 Targets.

Anemos etymology derives from Greek for the study of wind.
This small building forms the entrance building to a Social Science pier.
The building will connect the different elevations that the building responds to. The typology is a hybrid tourist and educational building that inform and educates the public about the offshore turbines that impose on the horizon line.
The facade of the building is a digitised pixelization of the brink energy multi-vision of the previous project. The facade would respond in real time to relayed information of the wind turbines offshore. The facade would display a visualization of the energy generated offshore.

Passive drainage is natural filtration of effluent water through intervened stagnation to encourage a more effective filtration process. similar to how sewage plants deal with there septic waste. Creating these individual pools removes, agricultural and other surface runoff pollutants from the hydrology

ExTErnAl PErsPECTivEThis Perspective depicts the view from the ramping exostructure. The image highlights the threshold line of natural micro-haven and industrial context that exists. It also shows the relationship between cycling to work and storage of bikes within the building.
ExTErnAl rEnDErThis render shows the wetland Micro-haven that exist on the other side of the building threshold. This location provides a physical visual relief from the surround industrial context.
ExTErnAl PErsPECTivEThis perspective illustrates the progressive ramping exostructure on the entrance side of the building. This structure runs the entire length of the building connecting the different elevations. The perspective also shows the passive filtration strategy where the wetland habitat is synthesized in front of the building, blurring the threshold the building sits on.
inTErnAl PErsPECTivE This shows the sports hall as a triple height space. the space looks out onto the wetland habitat. The different levels interact with the sporting space with viewing walkways directly above to encourage so
BirDs EyE AEriAl MAsTEr PlAnThis view shows the building in its surrounding context. The building represents a centralized location for amenities for the employees of the Energy park.

[1] This light filter model was designed to create an interesting internal shadow effect. the shadow cast shares paralels with a defraction ripple
[2] This laser cut acrylic model was made so that the internal spaces were lit with lED light to provide a clear distinction between repeated glazing and solid building envelope.
[3] A wax cast double helix structure that is cast from wax. The material allows internal reflections that results in an lEM light emitting material

What steamed from a childhood interest in gardening and Diy. This design and build construction project involved using CAD to calculate cut angles and dimensions of materials. With the assistance of Skidmore Carpenters to help manufacture the design. The final structure then had to be landscaped into its surrounding to ensure the built environment blended in symbiosis with the natural surrounding environment.

This is a development prototype for the packaging, design of a pair of high quality wallpaper sheers. The client specified packaging that allowed the customer to fell the mechanism of the scissors, while still keeping the blades Protected and safe
The filling knives and scrapers required packaging that protected the sharp corner profile of the tool. The packaging developed was a single card net, that wrapped around the blade of the knife while still providing the customer with the ability to feel and see the quality of the blade. The packaging is removable with a Velcro securing tab on the back.
