Customer Assistant (November 2014 – present) Marks & Spencer is a multinational retailer that specialises in home, clothing and food sales. As part of the customer-facing team, I liaise directly with customers to provide positive and personalised shopping experiences that are tailored to their specific needs and requirements. I take payment for goods and services and report complaints and resolve technical-related customer queries in various departments including Beauty, Food & Wine, General Merchandise, Home, Menswear, Womenswear, and Kidswear. Because my role spans numerous departments, I coordinate my duties across multiple different floor sections and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and customers alike. Volunteer Administrative Assistant (August 2014 – November 2014) Hull & East Yorkshire Mind is an independent charity that cares for people with mental health issues. I handled confidential information in accordance with the Data Protection Act (1998) and subsequently developed an MS Excel workbook for the rapid and convenient analysis of client-related data. As part of the Force-7 marketing and communications team, I harnessed various social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter to communicate important information with the festival’s target audience to increase awareness and improve attendance.

Strawberry

Events Manager (January 2013 – June 2013) Strawberry is a creative marketing agency based in Hull. During my undergraduate studies, I managed the relaunch of local pop/rock band Moscow for Pleasure and organised successful concerts that raised several thousand pounds for charity. As events manager, I liaised with the band to determine their specific event requirements and coordinated marketing and public relations to successfully promote the relaunch. Lyndhurst School
