    September 2009 to December 2009 - Production Assistant - Perfect Pitch Musicals Leading online and physical marketing campaigns including writing press releases, email marketing

    and mail outs. Co-ordinating print marketing distribution around central London. Developing relationships with agents, independent producers, regional theatres and interested parties

    to further productions. Supporting this by taking responsibility for database building and management.

    Supporting the logistics requirements of 5 concurrent productions including castings, rehearsal roomhires and stage management considerations. Liaising with multiple directors and musical directors.

    June 2009 to September 2009 - Box Office Manager - C Venues Ltd Leading 30 direct reports to ticket sales of 700,000 in an 8 week period, growing box office revenue

    year on year. Responsible for the ticket sales of 160 shows and events over a four week run. Designing and implementing a training programme for front line box office staff, Counter Managers

    and Duty Box Office Managers, ensuring consistently high level of customer service and sales. Playing a key roles in the senior management team of the venue and in day to day operations.

    Developing and ensuring compliance to box office procedure in areas such as regulatory compliance,banking and cash security, reporting to clients and companies, press and marketing.

    April 2008 to Present - Duty Manager and Fire Marshall - Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts Taking on Duty Management responsibilities for LIPAs 500 seat theatre and 100 seat studio. Ensuing compliance to evacuation and health and safety obligations as well as patron satisfaction. Regularly deputise for the Theatre Manager to ensure smooth running of the building during

    performances. Working with the front of house team and liaising with production and duty technicians. Responsible for training new members of staff in the theatres operating and fire evacuation

    procedures.

    July 2008 to August 2008 - Deputy Theatre Manager - C Venues Ltd

    Acting as the Duty Manager of Edinburgh Fringes largest venue complex with a 2000+ capacity.

    Working closely with a team of managers to ensure smooth running of the building 24 hours day. Oversaw the installation of 11 theatre spaces and 4 bars as well as a busy schedule of rehearsals. Responsible for the staff, building, and theatre patrons throughout the fit up, run and get out. Ensured effective day to day deployment of 60 front of house, fit-up and technical staff. Responsible for overall visiting company and patron satisfaction.

    October 2006 to April 2007 - Campaign Executive - Full Circle International Ltd Working for an outsourced lead generation company with multinational clients, mainly in the IT sector. Consistently pursued leads by telephone and email in a highly incentivised environment. Communicating unscripted complex propositions to senior executives using direct sales techniques. Responsible for keeping detailed, confidential records throughout the sales process which were

    passed directly back to the client business. Took on coaching responsibilities within the sales team, ensuring new team members correctly

    followed sales techniques and processes for best results.

    February 2005 to October 2006 - Bank Officer Telephony - Royal Bank of Scotland Plc Working in an inbound telephony centre interfacing with customers and other banks. Providing a high level of consistency when dealing with both internal and external clients. Call times were monitored and target driven with regular feedback from call monitoring. Progressed to take on anti-fraud roles within the department as well as training responsibilities. Required meticulous attention to detail, acting as the first port of call for a huge range of incoming

    calls.

    May 2008 to May 2009 - Station Manager - Re:place Radio Managing the development, production and distribution of over 15 weekly podcasts. Responsible for the design and implementation of a website to act as a podcast network. Built relationships with external content producers, negotiating syndication rights. Generated a higher level of listener participation amongst the target audience, revolutionised LIPAs

    long standing student radio station. Built a sustainable model for the production and distribution of podcasts for future production teams.

    Interests

    I am particularly interested in new media and how the performing arts are represented on the internet.

    In my free time I have hosted a podcast about the Edinburgh Fringe as well as building and maintainingwebsites in my spare time. Growing up in Scotland I became a keen hillwalker and have climbed anumber of mountains in the Highlands with family and friends.
