We have all been faced with difficult choices over the past few months and we understand that choosing a hospitality venue is a decision you will have made based on previous positive experiences and confidence and trust in your venue of choice. For various reasons, we are all at different stages on the journey back to normality. It is therefore not possible for us to satisfy every individual customer requirement, challenge or opinion. However, we promise, as a team to do everything we can to make your experience an enjoyable one and in doing so give you the confidence and trust to visit us again soon.

During lockdown we applied for planning permission (decision due 12th August) that would enable us to improve site facilities. The main improvements for 2021 would be:

• Increased restaurant seating capacity to reduce queuing

• More seating capacity to enable us to take group bookings

• Bigger outdoor seating area for customers, and pet friendly

• New fit for purpose commercial kitchen for the restaurant

• New bigger, fit for purpose modern customer toilet facilities

• Better welfare facilities for our team

• Modern storage and office space In the meantime, we have been working hard to adapt to the challenges. Our Garden Restaurant brings you the same high quality Beckworth experience that you know and love, in a spacious and relaxed environment. A stepping stone to the all new Restaurant, coming early 2021.

YOUR MENU

We have invested in a print run of 10,000 menus

as we wanted to safely offer you the same

comprehensive choice of dishes and drinks that

we could not do on a standard A4 paper menu.

Once you have finished with your menu your

server will post it into our daily storage box and it

will not be used again for at least 10 days.

GOVERNMENT INCENTIVES

We are committed to delivering our extensive

menu and excellent customer service in a

welcoming environment. We have invested

heavily into our facilities, predominantly to create

additional space for your comfort and safety.

We are committed to protecting all kitchen

and restaurant employees’ jobs to reward their

loyalty and maintain customer service levels and

continuity. We will be offering the government-

backed ‘Eat out to Help out’ scheme and we will

invest the temporary VAT reduction to support the

business in maintaining our team and our offer

whilst customer confidence recovers.
