What does it mean?

The Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 is a globally uniform testing and certification system for textile

raw materials, intermediate and end products at all stages of production. The tests for harmful

substances comprise substances which are prohibited or regulated by law, chemicals which

are known to be harmful to health, and parameters which are included as a precautionary

measure to safeguard health.

A tested textile product is allocated to one of the four Oeko-Tex® product classes based on

its intended use.

The more intensively a product comes into contact with the skin, the stricter the human eco-

logical requirements it must fulfill.

Manufacturers are entitled to mark successfully tested products or article groups with the

Oeko- Tex® label and to advertise in other forms as long as it has been proven within the

extensive laboratory tests that all components, including accessories, comply with the speci-

fied test criteria without exception. A certificate which is issued applies for one year and can

be renewed.

All of our terry towels & towelling products are Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 Product Class 1

certified so you can be confident that they are as good as they feel.

G O T S Certified Organic CottonOur organic cotton products are produced with GOTS certified organic cotton yarn in the pile.

Organic cotton yarn is grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the en-

vironment. It is grown to strict organic standards, without the use of chemicals or pesticides,

thus, making it the perfect eco-friendly textile.

Allover Jacquard Woven Towels

We can weave your logo into the body of the towel creating a fantastic looking corporate gift.

Custom jacquard woven towels are a popular and very cost efficient item for corporate pro-

motion. The design is actually ‘woven’ across the entire surface of the towel by employing

dyed yarns. This weaving technique allow us to offer you a fantastic looking corporate gift that

will enable you to effectively promote your newest product, or emphasize your brand.

The particular advantages are:* Largest branding area of any promotional product which translates into great brand awareness;

* You can present your logo/ message alone on the entire surface of the towel or in combination

with woven borders, relief woven motifs, sublimation printed border and/ or embroidery,

thus creating a unique, high-impact promotional towel;

* Suitable for two ply terry and velour.

Velour finish:Velour towels are simply terry towels that have one side of the terry loop “sheared” to produce a velvety texture.Because the pile is cropped, they also visually sharpen the brand or logo, and for this reason prove a popular choice for promotional use. The back side of the towel has the standard “loop” terry texture and is fully absorbent.

The design and colours woven on the front are always mirrored in reverse on the backside.

Colour combinations:There must be a maximum of “two colours per band”. One colour is the weft (left to right) and

the other colour is the warp (top to bottom). Multi-colour work is more complex. There are no

restrictions on the number of colours used – but there are restrictions on where they can be

placed. After viewing your logo we will inform you about all the possibilities.

Border Woven Towels

Border & Hem Woven Towels

The double Jacquard weaving process enables us to weave an area of flat fabric to be

inserted into the face and/or hem of the towel as an integral part of the construction. Into this

flat woven border and/ or hem we can faithfully weave complicated designs, messages and/

or corporate logos.

We can weave designs, messages and/or logos in up to 5 different colours into the border(s).

The border height can be up to 15 cm. A second border per towel is also possible.

The process is widely used in the industry, but by incorporating it with low-quantity piece

dyeing, we are able to provide yet another high-quality, cost-effective, viable product for the

corporate promotions market.

The particular advantages are:* Flexible, low cost solution;

* Suitable for singly ply/ two ply terry and velour;

* Cost-effective alternative to large-scale embroideries.

Relief Jacquard Woven TowelsRelief jacquard woven towels (also known as high-low/ embossed jacquard) are ideal when-

ever a discreet promotional towel is required. The logo size and position are freely select-

able.

Quality - Two ply terry:We use twisted yarn as this quality allows a more exact motif reproduction and makes it, therefore, ideal

for the use with relief jacquard woven designs.

Embroidered Towels

What is Embroidery?Embroidery is an elegant and stylish way to decorate promotional textiles.

The digitized image is saved on disk and loaded to the embroidery machine. The machine

uses the digital instructions to create your design with threads. The number of stitches that

the machine needs to make, amount of different colours and the quantity of items being

embroidered, etc. determines the embroidery cost.

Any design will have to be digitized. Digitizing is the process of taking an image of your

logo and converting it into stitches using specialized software developed especially for the

embroidery industry.

Formats:We prefer designs to be sent as vector files in formats:

.JPG, GIF, TIF, BMP, PDF, AI, PSD, EPS

Colors:We can offer high quality custom embroidery in max.12 different colours.

Size:The maximum size for an embroidery is of 40x60 cm .

LOGO NO-NO’S:

Embroidery is NOT printing. If your logo or artwork includes drop shadows, colour gradients or shading, we will have to discuss how to make the colour scheme conform to embroidery. Colour gradients or shading are not practical in embroidery.

Lettering that is too small or excessive details on paper may also not translate into a well embroidered design.

We have some tricks but there are limits on what can be achieved with needle and thread.

After the design is digitized, a test sample is stitched for approval. * Further sizes are available on request.
