The Power of Purpose
• Meet Megan, she is a baker • Happily employed since 2015• Expert at crimping, crumbing, and
pie packaging• Eager to someday work in the front
office and we are providing her an opportunity for her to do that
• At our bakery she can grow her skills, find happiness and enjoy a sense of purpose
The Beginning of Something Big
• Our story begins in 1982, at Holy Childhood in Rochester, NY• With Shirley Lynch, a Vocational Instructor• Shirley’s favorite family pie recipes• And a desire to help people learn and grow
in new ways
Increased Demand and Growth
• A new baking program was soon established on-site, using an existing 700 sq. ft. kitchen
• The program quickly saw increased enrollment as word spread in the community
• With unprecedented demand for our pies, and excitement from our bakers, a new space was necessary
Expanding Our Footprint
• In 2017 we proudly opened our new 20,000 sq. ft. facility
• Expanded and scalable production capacity
• We have the room and opportunity now to offer more jobs to people of all abilities
