Institute of Personal Resume. I was selected as the man of the year in 2001 by the International Institute

of world Research for my community source. I have been selected by the WHO as a consultant and expert in the area of

medicinal plants. Recipient of the competitive Award of the Distinguished Researcher’s

provided by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the year 2004.

COMMUNITY SERVICE Studying the microbiological contamination, cytotoxicity and

mutagenicity of “Al-Khol “an eye cosmetic used in Jordan and the middle eastern countries.

Studying the biological activities of the Jordanian medicinal plants. Conducting a study to explore the problems facing the Jordanian

hospitals by patients taken poisonous plants. Writing reports to the Ministry of Industry and Trade giving the

information about products (Containing Natural products) which is submitted to the Ministry for patents.

Consultant for Noor Al-Hussein Foundation (Women and Development Program) in cultivation, drying, packaging, constituents and uses of

aromatic plants in Irbid governorate. Participating in continuing education by giving seminars to the Jordanian

Pharmacists Associations. I have prepared and presented 33 hours on Petra T.V (on the air) About

Medicinal and Toxic plants / Program Name – Your Health 2009. I have established in 1992 a museum for medicinal, aromatic and toxic

plants at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Jordan University of Science and Technology. The museum is designed to serve educational Processes, and many visitors from local Schools and local Communities, colleges and Universities come to visit the museum. Usually, I will give a brief presentation about the medicinal benefits, uses and side effects of the common medicinal plants.
