RECENT GRANTS
F1999-S2001 Awarded a $6000, three-year grant from FIPSE as part of the University of Southern California SAFTI program consortium to support SIS faculty and student research in study abroad. Additional $2,000 granted Fall 1999,and $1,900 for 2000-2001. F2000-S2003 Awarded a $539,000 three year FIPSE joint-grant in conjunction with the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. As PI of the Pacific portion of the grant ($200,000+), I was responsible for writing, editing and producing ten cross- cultural training modules which are now hosted on a SIS website and distributed on the WWW. Grant duration was October 1, 2000 - October 1, 2003.
