PRESENT RESEARCH AREA

My research area is radiation physics with a particular focus on natural radioactivity. MyPh.D. Thesis concerned itself with radon measurements in air, soil and water. Alongside theexperimental measurements, I developed a new system for measuring the radon exhalationrate. In recent years, I have been working on some topics relating to nuclear safety (Isummary knowledge in this field throughout this CV by showing different coursesundertaken) and Mathematical modelling. In relation to modelling, I have an in-depthknowledge of Monte Carlo techniques.

The proposal received in the evaluation process a totalof 82.70 out of 100. Consequently the proposal was above threshold level. The finalresult classified this proposal as C type: "c: proposal of good quality. Having passed allthresholds but for which funding is not available due to budgetary constraints"

The project entitled "Estudio de los efectos radiologicos de la erupcion volcanica de laisla del hierro" (Study of radiological effects after volcanic eruption in El Hierro island)was presented in the national call of Spanish Ministry of Science and Education in2012. Although the project received positive evalution, due to budgetary constraints itdid not receive the Budget.
