He joined as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the CAM in February 2015. He received his doctorate in Materials Science division under PHYSICS Department, SRI KRISHNADEVARAYA UNIVERSITY, Anantapur, India, in 2010. In his PhD work, he has developed new microwave sintered NiCuZn ferrite nanocrystals with superior electromagnetic properties for multi-layer chip inductor and sensor applications. His current research concentrated on the investigations of ceramic reinforced Al metal matrix composites for weight-critical applications in automotive, electronics and communication industries. He received prestigious and most coveted CAS- TWAS Fellowship Award by Chinese Academy of Science in 2014. He pursued his post- doctoral research at School of Physics, Changwon National University, South Korea in 2012. He is recipient of several fellowships and awards such as Postdoctoral Research Fellow (2015-18) by National Priority Research Program of Qatar, CAS-TWAS Fellowship Award by Chinese Academy of Science (2014) and Brain Korea 21 (BK21) Scholarship by National Research Foundation of Korea (2012). SHORT BIOSKETCH

Dr. Penchal Reddy Matli is currently working as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Center

for Advanced Materials (CAM) at Qatar University, QATAR. He joined as a Postdoctoral

Fellow in the CAM in February 2015. He received his doctorate in Materials Science division

under PHYSICS Department, SRI KRISHNADEVARAYA UNIVERSITY, Anantapur, India, in

2010. In his PhD work, he has developed new microwave sintered NiCuZn ferrite

nanocrystals with superior electromagnetic properties for multi-layer chip inductor and

sensor applications. His current research concentrated on the investigations of ceramic

reinforced Al metal matrix composites for weight-critical applications in automotive,

electronics and communication industries. He received prestigious and most coveted CAS-

TWAS Fellowship Award by Chinese Academy of Science in 2014. He pursued his post-

doctoral research at School of Physics, Changwon National University, South Korea in 2012.

Characterization and measurement techniques

Characterize materials using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Physical Properties Measurement System (PPMS) and Fourier Infrared Raman spectroscopy (FTIR).

To study the initial permeability and dielectric properties at room temperature and temperature variation of these properties of the test specimens will be carried out using Computer Interfaced Hioki 353LCR HiTester which can be operated from 100Hz- 1 MHz.

Elastic and anelastic behaviour of specimens – Composite Oscillator Technique setup in this laboratory.

Physical parameters and resistivity will be carried out using the Keithley electrometer.
