I am a caring and professional Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, with more than 10 years of experience in my chosen profession. As an approachable individual with a strong belief in providing more than just medicinal treatment, I endeavour to provide intuitive, evidenced based care at all times. I believe that the role of a Nurse is to care not only for the patient but also their loved ones, members of the community and other health care professionals. At present I work in a paediatric setting working with babies 0-12 months.

I am a calm person by nature, and maintain composure in stressful situations. I assist in a wide variety of areas to include Outpatients, Medical Wards, Orthopaedic Ward, 0-12-month ward (Rose), Post - operative Surgical care, Adolescent Ward and Accident and Emergency Services.

I consistently provide evidence based patient care in accordance with organizational policies and guidelines with the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

I assist in providing high quality care to General and Acute medical patients, Palliative Care and Surgical patients.

Duties include maintaining and caring for Intravenous pumps; Optiflow Circuits; External Ventricular drains; Catheters; Peripheral Inserted Central Catheters; Intravenous sites; Tracheostomies; Nasopharyngeal devices; and Plaster care.

I assist with the management of feeding issues, for example breast feeding, bottle feeding, nasogastric and gastrostomy tube feeding.
