EXPERIENCE JULY 2014 - CURRENT

I am currently employed by ASVI Technical Services as Survey Head of

Department at Kouroussa Mine in Guinea.

My duties here include surface, open pit, stockpile and construction surveying, tonnage

calculations, measuring of dam levels and general survey consultancy. I make use of GPS and

Topcon instruments and their related computer software, in the daily execution of my duties. I

regularly update survey plans according to the mining operations.

MARCH 2013 – JANUARY 2014

During this period I was employed by Nantou Mining at Perkoa Mine in Burkina

Faso, as Senior Surveyor. I was responsible for the open pit, surface ,underground

and stock pile surveying as well as updating survey plans relevant to the mining

operations, using Autocad and Microstations and I completed regular check

surveys. All expats were given severance packages due to the mine halting all

operations.

MARCH 201O – MARCH 2013

I was employed at Grinaker LTA in the Northwest Province in South Africa as

Senior Surveyor. I performed stope, development and decline surveys and

measuring as well as construction and civil surveying in the conveyor decline.

Programs and instruments used included Microstations 2D and 3D, Autocad,

Winminop, GMSI Pegs Lite, Leica, Topcon and Leica GPS systems. During this time

I completed a Midline Leadership course in management.

I was a surveyor at Murray and Roberts in the Northwest Province in South Africa

I performed stope, development and decline surveys and measuring using

Autocad, Winminop and GMSI Pegs Lite, using the Leica survey instrument. I was

responsible for all check surveys, reporting to the survey manager.

I left the company as we relocated to another town 120 kilometers away.

FEBRUARY 1999 – OCTOBER 2006

I was employed as Senior Surveyor at Lonmin Platinum Mine in the Northwest

Province in South Africa. I performed stope, development and decline surveys

and measuring as well as tailings dams, stockpiles and check surveys. I

performed all surface surveying,using GPS. Programs used included Autocad,

Stopecad(Lynx Geosystems) and survey office programs. I obtained my

Certificate of Competency in the detection of gases and was certified as Advanced

user of Stopecad Lynx Systems. I was offered a better salary at Murray & Roberts

JULY 1985 – JANUARY 1999

I was employed as Surveyor at Impala Platinum Mine in the Northwest Province

in South Africa. I performed stope, development and decline surveys and

measuring as well as check surveys. I became proficient in the use of Leica and

Topcon survey instruments and obtained my certification in Elementary

Valuation and Elementary Survey. I was offered a position as Senior Surveyor at

Lonmin Platinum Mine.

JUNE 1979 – JUNE 1985

I was employed as learner surveyor and later as surveyor at ERPM Gold mines

Mine in the Gauteng Province in South Africa. I performed stope, development

and decline surveys and measuring. During this period I obtained my

onsetter/banksman certificate. I moved to the Northwest province in July 1985
