Role of DJUG in the project: Partner DJUG team coordinator: Prof. Mirela PRAISLER, Ph.D.DJUG responsibilities: WP0 Project Management; WP3: The UDJG team will contribute to the development, testing and spreading of a new methodology by creating a “distinguished/non conventional path” for students’ science education. It will enroll 10 gifted high school students through an abbreviated process of scientific research in physics and molecular biology-related degree courses that will emphasize the role and attraction of interdisciplinary studies through bioinformatics and chemometrics. The students will complete a stage in the Research Center of Physico-Chemical & Morpho-Functional Analysis and Chemometry, and thus become more familiar with the scientific career and eventually have a deeper appreciation for research. The stage will be dedicated to the process of good quality data collection, as certified by an exploratory analysis performed using Principal Component Analysis (PCA); to processing of multivariate data using
