empirically the determinants of exchange rate regime choices in the Middle East region.
The third essay investigates empirically exchange rate movements in the Middle East

Participated in preparing the Free Trade Area agreements particularly in the area
of banking and financial services, as reflected on the schedule of specific
commitments concerning the state of Kuwait. These include the FTA agreements
between GCC and Korea, GCC and Singapore, GCC and EFTA, GCC and Japan.
Served as a member of the Technical Committee of Monetary Integration for the
GCC countries, 2002-2003, and October 2007- October 2009.
Served as a member of the Governors Committee for GCC Central Banks,
January 2008- October 2009.
Served as a member of the GCC Trade Negotiation Team at which representing
the Central Bank of Kuwait within negotiations in financial services during
October 2007-October 2009.
