I have been working as a Property Consultant & Advisor to Family Offices and Private Clients. Projects have included a proposed Hotel for Virgin Galactic, refurbishments of residences in London, Tunisia, France and Mauritius. The Focus has been on Residential, Hotels, Student Accommodation and Pop up Restaurants and Bars. This along with my experience at VHL and Tiger Developments has given me valuable insight into global planning applications, appeals and legal issues relating to permits for regeneration and development.

Investment & Development Manager – Downing Group - June 2011 – December 2011

My role at Downing as their London based Investment & Development Analyst involved sourcing and accessing off market Investment and Development opportunities for the Downing Group Student Investment vehicles. Downing is a property developer who has built over 5,000 Student Accommodation beds with over 1,000,000 sq ft Office Portfolio. Whilst with Downing I secured two sites with a total Development Value of 90 million pounds one site in London and the other in Cambridge.

Land Acquisitions Manager - Victoria Hall Ltd - November 2006 – January 2009

Whilst at Victoria Hall Ltd I was directly accountable to the CEO of Victoria Hall Ltd and worked closely with him to acquire development sites and investment opportunities in the UK and Europe. The role can be summarised below.

Identify and assess new development and investment opportunities in the UK and Europe. Principally this was within the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.

Obtain relevant local market information in relation to design, construction, authority issues, operational data (occupancies, room rates, expense levels, wage costs, labour law issues, statutory expenses etc)

To evaluate opportunities from other developers and make recommendations on the basis to proceed or otherwise.Produce project feasibilities including development feasibilities (using DCF and IRR methodology) and Victoria Hall Ltd operational feasibilities,Negotiate and execute heads of terms, liaising with local developers, investors, and real estate agents, including compilation of relevant summary reports.

Sales Consultant –Wycombe Square August 2003 – February 2006

After finishing a Law degree with the University of London I started work for St James Homes in August 2003. St James Homes is a joint venture between Thames Water and the Berkeley Group. Whilst working for St James I worked as a Sales and Marketing Consultant at Wycombe Square. In 2003 the year following the Launch of Wycombe Square we successfully sold over £120 millions of residential property sales, exceeding £2000 per Sq Ft on certain properties.Following 2 years of working in Sales with St James I moved to the Land department as a Trainee Land Manager in Feb 2006
