Rico, Germany, Philippines, the Virgin Islands, and Turkey. In addition over 200 copies of the instrument have been distributed through conferences presentations I have made. Twenty-one individuals have used the instrument for their dissertation research and 3 others have utilized in research and published articles. Several others have referenced the instrument in their work.In February 2005, representatives from the National Center for School Counseling Outcome Research (UMASS, Amherst) requested to use the instrument for a state-wide assessment project they were conducting in Rhode Island. Upon their review of the instrument, they asked permission to feature the instrument on their web-site http://www.umass.edu/schoolcounseling/SCARS/index.htm and provide a copy to those people who are interested in using the instrument. As of the last time data were kept in April 2007, there were over 8,100 page loads (averaging over 300 visits per month) for the School Counselor Activity Rating Scale (data provided by www.statcounter.com).
