Daoud, Ph.D., Communication and Electronics Engineering Objective: I have got my PhD since 2006 in the field of Communications and Electronics. During the last years I have taught several courses from the basic electronics, signal processing and toward the higher level of communication Engineering. In addition, there are two awards have been achieved on the level of graduation projects competitions. Moreover, I have published more than 30 papers in a highly recommended journals and international conferences during the last four years. From 1/9/2011-30/8/2012 I have filled the position of Communication and Electronics Engineering Department Head in addition to the Computer Engineering one. Furthermore, I have been a part of the organization committee and the editorial board for some well known international conferences and journal, respectively. Omar R. A. Daoud, Ph.D., Communication and Electronics Engineering

Objective:

I have got my PhD since 2006 in the field of Communications and Electronics.

During the last years I have taught several courses from the basic electronics, signal

processing and toward the higher level of communication Engineering. In addition,

there are two awards have been achieved on the level of graduation projects

competitions. Moreover, I have published more than 30 papers in a highly

recommended journals and international conferences during the last four years. From

1/9/2011-30/8/2012 I have filled the position of Communication and Electronics

Engineering Department Head in addition to the Computer Engineering one.

Thesis Title: MIMO-OFDM for Beyond 3G Systems.

The work was mainly to achieve the Quality of Service for B3G (High

Quality multimedia Applications of the Wireless and Mobile

Communication Systems by combining the advantages of the Orthogonal

Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) and the Multiple Input Multiple

Output (MIMO) systems).

Thesis Title: Vision System for Visually Impaired People. Very Good

The work was mainly to build a system that helps the visually impaired

people in recognizing the environment around them. There was an

enhancement to the conventional techniques by imposing the AI

techniques. Thus, a sound signal will reach the hearing system that defines

the details of the surrounding objects; types, rotations, distances.
