MY BACKGROUND

Went through Solon schools Have a B.S. in middle childhood

education in the areas of math and science

Fifth year teaching, Four years teaching in Indiana

Fifth year teaching science Also teaching Algebra and Science at

the middle school for 7th and 8th grade

INSTRUCTIONAL GOALS

Prepare students for other science courses that they will take at SHS

Prepare students for the new state tests

Use technology – videos, photo stories, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs

Have students work with others to increase problem solving skills (inquiry based lessons)
