Elementary:
Fastbridge is to be used for students that do not have the CAASPP scores.
*Scores do not fall at “some risk” or “at risk” categories based on Fastbridge aReading which equates to the 41st
percentile on national norms.

Reclassification Criteria
IV Parent Consultation• Provide notice to parents/guardians of their right to
participate in the reclassification process
• Encourage parents to participate in reclassification process and face-to face meeting.
• Parent signature must be obtained on the original or copy of the reclassification form, or significant attempts to obtain signature must be documented
Reclassification Timeline
Reclassification usually takes place in the Fall and Spring; however, the process may take place at anytime.

Language Appraisal Team (LAT)
Annual Review Student Progress and Reclassification Process Annually, after the official CELDT results, the site principal or
designee will convene the Language Appraisal Team and initial a review of the ELD student progress.

•Annually monitor EL Student Progress
•Identify and recommend students for Reclassification
•Review the progress of reclassified Students for two years following reclassification
