Congratulations St. Louis!! The Metropolitan St. Louis Chap-ter has been awarded The Presi-dent's Award for one complimen-tary Mid-year Meeting registration and three nights' hotel accommo-dation! All local chapters were en-tered in the drawing; four names were drawn at random from each of these four categories and St. Louis won for the Mega Category. The funds for this award are from National President Margo Willis’ overflow from her 2011 installa-tion budget.

The Missouri State Chapter met in St. Charles on June 22, 2011. We had a wonderful attendance. The Program was presented by Beth Steele from Co-lumbia. She spoke on how to do big business on a small budget. It was well received by all. We met our new M.A.R. CEO, Russ Cofano. He is charming and we will enjoy working with him. Next year we will only have three state meetings. They will be Jefferson City in January, Springfield in April and Lake of the Ozarks in Septem-ber. Our prayers are with Mary Carter of the St. Louis Chapter, formerly of Jefferson County. She was injured in an accident while attending the Mid-Year meetings in Washington, DC. Her right wrist was crushed and required several surgeries. The nominating committee for 2013 was chosen. It will be led by Carole Harris, Nancy Rogers, Rue Lovett and Caroleen Ferrell. It will meet in September of 2013 to interview appli-cants offices. Our next meeting will be at Tan-Tar-A at the Lake of the Ozarks on Sep-tember 14th. The installation of officers will be in conjunction with the M.A.R. installation. We will celebrate the inau-gurations of Jan Thomas and LaNora Kay together.
