Current Affairs ( Prelims + Mains 2019) by ForumIAS BEGINS DECEMBER 10, 11AM - 1:30 PM, Classes every Monday-Tuesday “I joined Current Affairs Classes by ForumIAS, which helped me immensely in my preparation and helped me succeed in the Civil Services Examination. ” - Pratham Kaushik, IAS Rank 5 About the program : Current Affairs ( Prelims + Mains 2019 ) is a bi-weekly classroom program by ForumIAS for comprehensive preparation of Current Affairs for Prelims & Mains 2019. The program will commence from December and will go on till Mains 2019. Goal of the program : The Program will focus on three things (a) Completeness : Ensure complete coverage of Current Affairs from PIB, Hindu, Indian Express, Times of India, and magazines such as EPW , Frontline. No issues will be left out. Content Differentiation: Ensure that value addition beyond common sources is done so that there is content differentiation in answers written by our students vis-à-vis other candidates. Consolidation: Ensure that there is complete consolidation of content on various topics that are important for Prelims and Mains examination. Thus preparation is not scattered. Design of the program (Handouts | Lectures | Answer Writing) ● Handouts of the topics to be covered will be provided in the classroom. ● 5-8 important issues (and facts for Prelims ) will be covered. Thus the classes will have comprehensive coverage for both Prelims and Mains ● Answer Writing Component: Students will be required to solve 3-4 subjective questions in a limited time frame in the classroom. Additional Classes for Prelims & Mains & Economic Survey | Prelims : Ten or more additional classes will be provided about 30 days before the Prelims as well as the Mains examination to cover and revise all significant topics for the Prelims / Mains examination. This will ensure complete coverage and consolidation of Current Affairs before the exam. There will be additional classes to cover Economic Survey and any other reports / documents as may be necessary. Duration of the Course : The course shall continue till before the Mains Examination. Note that the courseware will cover the same number of topics across all batches. This means that no topic will be left out for Prelims or Mains irrespective of the date of commencement of the program. Equal coverage across batches will be ensured by holding additional classes or increasing the duration of the classes. Fees and Concessions : The program fees is Rs, 25,000 (inclusive of all taxes ) . If you have been a student of Current Affairs Classes , you will be entitled to a fee concession of 40%, subject to (a) first fifty enrollments and (b) concessionary admission is taken before December 5th. No concessions will be granted by refund of fees ) No other concessions will be provided apart from that. Candidates who would like to check the quality of the class can take the first class as demo subject to availability of seats. (2) If you are an old student, you are entitled to a fee concession of 40%, and the applicable fee will be Rs. 15,000 . To enroll at the concessional rate you can pay at http://instamojo.com/@ForumIAS . Just put the details as “Old Student CA”. After making the payment, you must send the receipt along with old payment receipt to [email protected]. For any cases of false claims or misrepresentation, admission will be cancelled with or without refund of fees under the concession scheme.

● Additional classes can be held in weekdays before Prelims & Mains examination ● Fees once paid will not be refunded. ● This course is available only in the OFFLINE mode.
