 Curriculum vitae Giorgio Marcon 

 My name is Giorgio Marcon and I was born in Asolo on 01/17/1956. 

I’ve  always  had  a  passion  for  electronics;  at  age  13,  I  obtained  a 

certificate  from  the  Scuola  Radio  Elettra  and  enjoyed  studying  geo‐

engineering and other applied sciences. 

At age 20, I began working on my own and built my first invention. I 

quickly received a silver medal for the merit of my work. 

For more than 20 years, I have worked as a technician with various 

National  District  Attorney’s  Offices  for  investigations  regarding  fraud 

and/or manipulation perpetrated with automatic survey systems such as 

Autovelox, T‐red and Alcoltest.

I became particularly  interested  in demonstrating  the  limits of  the 

Alcoltest,  being  able  to  demonstrate  the  absolute  unreliability  of  this 

monitoring system. 

I work as a technical consultant, on these topics, with various  legal 

offices. 

Over  the years, my passion  for  research has  led me  to collaborate 

with  various  scientists  at  the  international  level,  including 

neuropsychologist  and Nobel  Peace  Prize  nominee  Prof.  Trimarchi  and 

Prof. Rivalta, a scientist and forensic medicine researcher. 

In the early 1990’s  I began  looking  for a system that would reduce 

traffic  accidents,  studying  and  analyzing  the  behavior  of  the  people 

involved in the incidents. 

I came  to  the conclusion  that  the  lack of adequate psychophysical 

suitability was  the  cause  of  the  accidents  and  there  existed  no  system 

able to evaluate this. 

This  was  the  origin  of  my  “Riflessometro”  project,  applied 

technology  effective  in  establishing  the  psychophysical  suitability  of  an 

individual  and  able  to  monitor  the  driving  behavior  of  the  subjects 

involved. 

For  this,  I have  received various  recognitions,  including: On  June 7 

2012, the ONPS Silver Tag at the Chamber of Deputies, for “The culture of 

legality and safety, an indispensable condition for development and also 

to  fight every  form of oppression and violence” and April 17, 2013  the 

prize: “Start2Mach for security innovation on work and personal safety” 

during the international meeting in Freiburg.
