Upgrade existing flood protection facilities
Remove 3,200 parcels from the FEMA floodplain
Replace trees impacted by construction with new
trees and shrubs in key areas
A 100-year flood has a 1% chance of occurring in any given year or the
likelihood of occurring once every 100 years.*
