The last week of term and it is all systems go here at CPS!

The whole school is looking forward to our Grand Fundraiser this Thursday. This will be a great day

where each class will be running a stall to help raise money for the school. It will be an out of uniform day

and will commence at 12.30pm. Everyone is invited to come along and join in the many activities that

include face painting, Cundletown Café, Putt Putt Golf, just to name a few. Drinks, sausage sandwiches

and hot dogs will also be on sale. It looks like being a great day and we hope to see you there!

I hope that everyone is able to get some time together with their families as we head into the holidays.

Please travel safely if you are on the road and we look forward to seeing you all back at school on

Tuesday 8th October.

NETBALL GALA DAY What a wonderful day. We took two netball teams to Baronia Park, Tuncurry, last Friday 13 September to compete in a Netball Gala Day. The girls had a great day – winning some and losing some – but gaining experience and confidence during each game they played. Their attitude and behaviour was outstanding. Pool A consisted of year 6 girls - Amy Cook, Makayla Cornall, Caitlin Eakin, Jenna Graham, Kiara Hollis, Savanna Partridge and Kyra Trengrove. We cannot forget Dom Wyse, who unfortunately broke her arm 2 days prior to the competition. Get well soon Dom! Thank You Shaelee who was our sub. The girls were very excited to have two wins against some very tough competition. Our pool 2 girls consisted of: Sarah Christian, Zoe Chivas, Keira Bosher, Shaelee Mobbs, Cassie Crittenden, Maddy Eakin, MacKenzie Saville, Darcy Sheather and Elissa Turner. These girls also had one win against older and much more experienced teams. A BIG ‘Thank You’ to all our parents for transporting the girls and supporting them all day. You were great! CORWDY HEAD SURF LIFE SAVING CLUB. Nippers will commence the 2013/2014 season on Sunday 13th of October, 2013 and will continue through to Sunday 23rd of March, 2014. The club caters for all ages and abilities, from 15 metre swimmers to distance swimmers in all strokes.
