The little girl from Gothenburg, Sweden always liked drawing. But not exactly the same way

everyone else did. Sometimes her mother wondered why the sun was square and the princess

was triangular, but the girl couldn’t give her an answer. She just thought it was prettier that

way... Marita Lord’s unique imagination and passion for functional design soon transformed

THIS IS WHAT YOU DO:

1. Remove the herb from the store-bought plastic pot.

2. Place the herb in the terracotta pot.

3. Fill the white container, the water storage container, with water

to about 1 cm (0.4 in) from the top.

4. Place the terracotta pot on top of the water storage container.

Make sure the felt strip is dipped in the water.

5. Top up with water about once a week. Your herb will absorb all

the water it needs. If it becomes too wet, the terracotta clay will

“breathe” so that your herb remains healthy.

EVERGREENEvergreen Herb is a self-watering pot which is ideal for anyone who doesn’t have a green thumb or the time optimist who has other priorities.

The Evergreen Herb is designed to keep herbs fresher and more delicious than if you were to keep them in their store-bought containers. Often times you won’t use the

entire herb for just one meal. The Evergreen Herb allows you to take herbs as you need them. Thanks to the Evergreen Herb, you’ll find it easier to keep herbs at hand when

standing in front of the stovetop. And what’s more? Keeping your kitchen countertops tidy with your very own little herbal garden is a true delight for both the eyes and the palate.

Top up with water around once a week to keep your herbs healthy for several weeks. A felt pad sucks up water from the lower section, watering the plant from below at the ideal rate.

Your herb will absorb all the water it needs. If it becomes too wet, the terracotta clay will “breathe” so that your herb remains healthy. We’ve manufactured stainless steel

tags as accessories to help you keep track of the herbs you have in your various pots. Choose from basil, thyme and three other herbs. The self-watering

THIS IS WHAT YOU DO:

1. Soak the seeds in water as described in the instructions on the

packaging they came in.

2. Pour the seeds into their own terracotta sections. Cover the

bottom with seeds.

3. Put on the lid and leave to stand on your kitchen worktop.

4. Place every terracotta section containing seeds under running

water for a short time at least once every day. Put all the parts

back together with the white section – the water container – at

the bottom. Excess water is collected in this container, and you

then pour it off the next time you water your seeds. This water

is nutritious and you can use it as plant food. Keep watering

your seeds until they're ready to eat. This often takes 3-7 days.

5. When they're ready, remove the lid and set out all the sections

so that the sprouts are in daylight. Leave them to stand for a

day. This allows chlorophyll to develop and makes your sprouts

green and luscious.

GROW GREENGrowing your own food is trendy. Raw food is also becoming more and more popular. Sprouts are a popular superfood, loaded with vitamins

and minerals. Grow Green makes it easy to grow sprouts indoors. You can then harvest them for your salads in just 3-7 days, all year round. You don't get more

home-grown than that. All you have to do is water the sprouts in their terracotta sections every day and then stack them up again. Natural terracotta allows us to imitate the

soil's dark growth environment that sprouts need to germinate. The terracotta ensures that moisture is distributed evenly among the sprouts and allows

them to breathe so they don't turn musty. Grow alfalfa and mung beans, for example, and witness one of life's little miracles.
