OBJECTIVE:

* After the completion of productive period or at 64 weeks or the rejected birds (such as sexing error, non-layer, weak female) are to be culled.

* For lifting, the pen wise average body weight taken and the no. of birds to be culled is counted after getting approval for the Breeder Head (GM/DGM/AGM)

VEHICLE ARRIVAL AT THE FARM GATE:

* The vehicle to be parked outside the farm gate. The driver of the vehicle has to hand over the loading order (given from Regional office to the trader) to farm security.

* The DC (delivery challan) contains the details like Name of the trader, Code no, Vehicle no, Kgs to be loaded, type of birds, cash received, total value, name of the farm, farm in-charge, weighment supervisor and their contact no.

APPROVAL FOR LOADING FROM FARM IN-CHARGE:

* The security has to pass on the information to the Farm In-charge regarding the No. of birds to be loaded.

* After getting his approval for loading the birds in the farm vehicle and dispatch them to the vehicle at the gate outside.

WEIGHMENT IN THE FARM GATE:

* Place the electronic weighing scale in the level surface and ensure the lighting is good. Check the accuracy of the scale.

* Weigh the empty cage box initially, then load the cage boxes with birds, weigh them and finally load them in to the vehicle.

* Record the weight of each empty and loaded box.

LOADING THE BIRDS IN THE FARM VEHICLE and TRANSFER OF BIRDS TO THE TRADER VEHICLE:

* First the birds are to be placed in the boxes.

* When the boxes are filled then loaded them in the farm vehicle.

* The boxes from the farm vehicle are transferred to the trader cage box outside the gate.

STORING THE BALANCE FEED IN THE FEED ROOM:

* The balanced feed after loading the culled birds are collected and stored in the feed storage room.

* Then they are transferred to other same age farm after discussion with Reporting Manager.
