DIEGO MARÍN AND HIS DREAM

In a small village of Burgos called Coruña del Conde.

Narciso and Catalina lived happily at their home.

In 1.757 they had a baby who was named Diego

Soon his father died, and Diego had to look after the sheep since he was very young.

As he was very clever he invented a machine to mill the wheat in the mill.

Every day he looked the eagles flying, because he wanted to fly like them.

On May the 15th of 1,793; from Coruña’s castle, Diego tried to arrive to El Burgo de Osma flying on his mechanical bird.

He couldn’t. The right wing was broken after starting flying and he fell down with his machine.

His family and neighbours burnt his machine without telling him anything.

Thus, Diego died painfull, on October the 11th of 1800. He was forty-three and he couldn’t see his DREAM made.
