Asyouknow,transportationhasbecomeaheatedissueinboththeGeneralAssemblyandthe

raceforGovernor.RepublicansandDemocratshaveraisedlegitimateconcernsaboutthe

abilityofanAttorneyGeneraltoimpartiallyleadtheirofficewhilerunningforGovernorof

Virginia.Specifically,VirginiataxpayersdeservetoknowiftheactionstakenbytheOfficeofthe

AttorneyGeneraltodeclareportionsofthebipartisantransportationcompromise

unconstitutionalmayhavebeeninfluencedbythepoliticalneedsofyourcampaign,whichhas

attackedthetransportationcompromiseinthepress.

TheWashingtonPostnotedinaneditorialaboutyourtimeasAttorneyGeneralthattherehave

beenconcernsaboutwhether,renderingdispassionatelegaladvicetakesabackseatto

agenda-pushing.

Therefore,pursuanttotheVirginiaFreedomofInformationAct,Iamrequestingcopiesofthe
