The position The CTO is responsible for the company’s technology vision and leading all aspects of the company’s software development and operations. As a member of the management team, the CTO will work closely with our top executive talent in New York and London to refine company strategy. The daily focus is on development team productivity and delivering results, while ensuring customer satisfaction, performance and reliability of our platform. We seek an individual with a solid software background and experience that includes software development, high availability online services and branded user experiences. The CTO must be able to lead, champion company goals, and encourage a culture of engineering excellence. We are looking for: • Ability to recognize and recruit top development talent • Entrepreneurial drive, demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast paced environment with global competition • Diplomacy and people skills to work with different cultures within the organization • Ability to establish credibility with smart engineers quickly • Able to fit in well within an informal start-up environment and to provide hands-on management • Experience building and managing multiple user-facing services and the teams which developed and operated them • MS or CS preferred (PhD, a plus) with 5-10+ years of relevant experience managing software developers Information and contact details • Workplace in Copenhagen, Denmark (EU work and residence permit required) • Competitive compensation package, including participation in the company's warrant program issuu.com | blog.issuu.com | platform.issuu.com
