In 2015 and 2014, we received AIG’s ‘Top Producer’ award. We were also awarded the ‘We Welcome Families’ Excellence Award in 2013. Prior to that, we were decorated with the Pro-Family Accreditation mark in 2012 and have been following their guidelines to be the choice travel agency for families, as well as receiving SME One Asia’s ‘Top 5 Distinguished SME’ award. In 2011, we were awarded the Superbrands Award.

AWARDS

In the 1990s, we made history with record-breaking number of passengers on chartered �ights to various parts of China. We also organised thematic tours during the Lunar New Year and Mid-Autumn Festival to Beijing and a chartered train experience to Northern China for the Ice Snow Festival. In 2010, we were appointed as the general sales agent for World Expo Shanghai for Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei. We also established our B2B Regional Distribution Network, formed consortiums with our overseas travel agents in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei during this period of time.

DAWN OF A NEW HORIZON OUR 4 FUNDAMENTALSOriginally founded as CTC Holidays, conceived in March 1990 as a brick-and-mortar store, we aim to create a service where it was all about giving Singaporeans a holiday. We built a people’s business, a business that revolved around travellers and their journeys. Conceived with the belief that everyone should enjoy the holiday they deserve, we o�er well rounded travel services to several worldwide destinations with holidays to China being the most popular amongst our guests. We have the honour of being renowned for our expertise, comprehensive itineraries and the urge to serve our guests quality holidays.

Our �agship store is located in the heart of Singapore. Located on the third �oor of Chinatown Point and our proximity to downtown of Singapore makes it accessible for all to visit. This is what our service culture revolves around; accessibility, accuracy, consistency, relevance and passion.

With the rebranding of CTC Holidays to CTC Travel, we have become one of the leading travel agency in Singapore. CTC Travel’s expertise in destination international faring, with a vision to bring travel to all has allowed the company to leverage on its strengths, providing our highly diverse customer base the best travel options. Providing a full array of travel services such as worldwide escorted tours, �exi holidays, corporate planning, customised and special interest vacations, we recognise the need to adapt amidst the ever-changing landscape.

Evolving from a tour operator in the 90s into one of Singapore’s leading travel agency involved introspection by the management. With the introduction of newer software and the improvement of technology, various strategies were put in place which further streamlined processes, increasing e�ciency thus enabling us to serve our guests better.

Training and development is an integral part for all sta�, especially important for an excellent tour manager and an e�ective product planner. We participated in the Customer Centric Initiative (CCI) programme to equip sta� with relevant skills and necessary knowledge on customer service such as, service agility and customer experience. Regular in-house product trainings are conducted throughout the year with hands-on destination trainings overseas. A customer-centric mindset enables us to provide quality service and comprehensive itineraries with value that goes the distance.

It is because of our Tour Managers’ winning personalities that we have gained many loyal guests who eventually became our friends because of the wholesome travel experience they had. A comfortable commute that always rang with laughter brought about by our Tour Managers left a deep impression on them. We want to continue to bring the joy of travelling to everyone.

CTC Travel is honoured to have well-known faces grace our tours to visit various destinations such as Croatia, Cambodia, and Egypt with our guests. Our notable themed celebrity tours include a 新谣 (xinyao) tour with a renowned singer-songwriter to romantic Shanghai, a martial arts celebrity to mysterious Shaolin Temple, and a veteran actor to unique Ningxia. CTC Travel’s very own celebrity, Managing Director, Mr. Chen Bin has personally led tours to beautiful destinations like Okinawa and Mongolia too. Tour activities promote plenty of interaction and engagement amongst everyone, showing guests a more personal side of the celebrities while creating lasting memories.

The same value composition allows our China-Asean Travel Centre to establish good standings of providing quality tour packages to neighbouring regions. Our team of MICE designers create tailor-made travel itineraries and fully prepare the logistics to ensure a smooth and seamless incentive trip, or overseas meeting and exhibition for clients. We start with the client’s event goals and the message to be communicated. Then we design the elements of the event to deliver that seamless message or experience in a way that accomplishes their goals.
