Company Overview
A history of business development
White International Pty Ltd, which was founded in 1952, was acquired by Lonsyd Pty Ltd in 1976. Lonsyd Pty Ltd itself is an investment company formed in 1957 by the Executive Chairman, Mr Peter Ryba.
Since becoming part of the Lonsyd Group we have been dedicated to providing a professional service to our clients. Our Australian, family owned company has become widely diverse and quick to identify new market opportunities. The sound financial management capacity has enabled White International to progress firmly, quickly and with a solid foundation endorsing the principles of Total Quality Management.
Through dedication and hard work, White International is gathering momentum and we have advanced into a new era of exciting potential having built our business on quality and innovation. We are building our reputation by continuously improving the service to our suppliers and clients.
White International originally imported and distributed hand tools and equipment direct to consumers within the Industrial Market, in which we developed a high reputation as a supplier of quality products and customer service.
In 1981 we broadened the scope of our activities when we entered the pump market with products aimed at the rural, industrial and marine sectors. At this time, we changed our distribution strategy and elected to supply all our products through nominated distributors and not direct to end users.
In 1989 our New Zealand operation was established.
Sales structure
White International Pty Limited has distribution centres in Sydney, Perth and Auckland. We have a strong national sales force located throughout Australia and New Zealand. Our team of fully qualified sales engineers and pump applications engineers provide technical assistance and recommendations for particular applications.
Customer service
White International’s customer service team are dedicated and constantly strive for excellence in before and after sales service. We have state of the art computer systems and have in place procedures and processes to deliver the right goods, at an agreed price, within a specified time, to a designated location.
A FOREVER GROWING CONCERN
In the pump business a brand name has for over 25 years been the hallmark of technology, quality and reliability. The name is DAB. We were founded in 1975 as a pump designer and manufacturer with the specific aim of meeting increasingly higher market requirements, by not only offering products compliant with the highest quality control levels, but also an efficient and versatile service. Starting from our first manufacturing plant, now our head office, we have since grown to employ over 500 people and occupy an area exceeding 60,000m2, with industrial sites housing our R&D and production sections that can keep pace with the world-wide market. Our evolution is proven by our four European subsidiaries that form a network to provide our partners and clients with local support. This organisational endeavour has led us to sell over 1000 different listed models and thousands of satisfied customers who can fully verify DAB’s quality.

Managing a company of our size is a challenge that we face enthusiastically at DAB as we set forever more ambitious goals. We know we can rely on our immense resources in this field. Our highly qualified staff work in R&D, production, logistics, sales, administrative and customer support departments. All these departments, organised in a rational and thus highly efficient structure, are connected to a Europe-wide computer network. It is directly linked to DAB’s management, responsible for coordinating and supervising this fully integrated system thanks to everyone’s tireless commitment. This is because a great organisation is always founded on the responsibility of its human resources.

Unique, compact, simple, self-sufficient and efficient. Made up of 9 different models, automatic lifting pumps for domestic and small installations for civil, agricultural or industrial use. Each electric pump has a built-in, easy to install and ready for use dual control device. This system guarantees that the pump operates at its very best, automatically controlling the performance and when necessary limiting the numbers of starts. Active pressure systems do not require any type of maintenance or adjustment whatsoever.

The Active system also protects the pump from excessive starts caused by leaks, dripping taps and low draw offs. On return of normal functions and conditions, the Active system automatically restores operation.
