Santa Special and the

North Pole Express• Located in Essex, CT

• Starts on November 14th to December 28th

• Buy tickets either online or at the stations

• Santa Special Times: 11:30 am, 1:00 and 2:30 pm.

• Two trains at the station (One train leaves at 5:00 pm, the second

train leaves at 5:35 pm. The second run, the first train leaves at

7:00 pm and the other train leaves at 7:35).

• Hot chocolate and cookies are served to the passengers.

• Get a chance to meet the Santa, Mrs. Claus and everyone else

(except Rudolph).

Lantern Light Tour• Located at the Mystic Seaport, CT

• November 29, 2014 - December 27, 2014

• Starts at 5pm

• Family event

• Explore what it was like back in the 1870s and see the

season delights and excitements around town.

Connecticut Science Center• Located in Hartford, CT

• Opened throughout the year

• Opens on Tuesday-Sunday (10-5)

• Explore vast exhibits inside

• From exploring the solar system to finding dinosaur

bones to become a scientist.

• Traveling exhibits on specific months

Ice Fishing, Eagle & Bird

Watching• Ice Fishing:

• Must have a license and be over 16 years old

• It’s free, but bring extra layers and patience
