Corporate�Social�Responsibility�
Corporate Social Responsibility is a Company's commitment to operate in an
economically, socially & environmentally sustainable manner. The company has
also revised its policy time in line with latest DPE guidelines in the matter. The
company has allocated a fund equivalent to 3% PAT of 2011-12 for CSR &
Sustainability activities for the year 2013-14. PDIL has undertaken following CSR
projects:
A. Skill�Development�&�Capacity�Building.�����������������������
Skill� development� projects� are� being� � implemented� � by� Delhi�
Competitive� &� Vocational� Society� (DCVS),� Amrit� Dhara� foundation,�
Maathru� Bhumi� foundation,� Shramik� Vikas� Parishad,� SEVA,� Rural�
Education�&�Welfare�Society�etc��and�around�400�marginalised�women�
and� persons� belonging� to� SC/ST/OBC/minority� community� &�
economically�weaker�section�are�being��benefitted.�
B. Sanitation��
The� DCVS� has� proposed� to� carry� out� the� project� to� create� awareness�
about�sanitation�by�distributing�4500�sanitary�napkins�and�IEC�material�
to�adolescent�girls�and�underprivileged�women�at�six�different�locations�
in�urban�slum/rural�area�of�NCR.��
�
C. Education���������
Through�Shanti�Sahyog�(NGO),�education�of�14���slum/�underprivileged��
were�fully�supported�by�PDIL.�This�support� is�being�continued�for�past�
several�years.�

D. Health�camps�
Medical� camps� were� organised� by� Mahavir� International� Delhi,�
Artharitis� Foundation� of� India, Sri� Krishna� Medical� Research� Center��
where� more� than� 1000� poor,� senior� citizen� and� persons� belonging� to�
underprivileged� categories� were� provided� free� health� check�up,�
medicines,�spectacles,�Tshirts.���
E. Environment�protection�&�Child�Mortality�
The� project� was� implemented� by� Aprajita� for� generating� awareness�
about�environment�protection�for�encouraging�people�to�use�multiuse�
Jute�bags�and�say�no�to�plastics.��

F. SUPPRT�TO�OLD�AGE�HOME�
Support�to�Sindhu�Sevak�Sangh�which�has�established�Swami�Premdasa�
Elders’� Home� located� in� � Vadodara� City� by� providing� 5� nos.� of� Dining�
Table�and�30�nos.�of�dining�chairs�for�serving�the�elderly�inmates.�

G. SUPPRT�TO�PHYSICALLY�CHALLENGED�PERSON�
ABILITY�UNLIMITED�FOUNDATION,�an�NGO� is� committed� for�changing�
the� attitude,� apathy,� negativity� and� fear� against� the� persons� with�
disabilities� and� senior� citizens� through� various� activities� like� Dance�
Theatre� performances,� workshops,� interactive� sessions,�
demonstrations,�etc.��These�performances�given�by�disabled�artistes�on�
Wheel� Chairs� and� Crutches� are� educative,� sensitizing,� empowering,�
motivating� and� entertaining.� � The� abilities� of� these� differently� able�
artistes�with�disabilities�–�how�accomplished�they�are�in�portraying�the�
most� difficult� scenes� in� captivating� dance�theatre� productions� are�
tremendous.� � PDIL� supported� the� cause� by� providing� specially�
manufactured�20�wheel�chairs�to�such�disabled�persons�who�are�taking�
training�in�performing�dance�drama.�

�PDIL� acknowledges� the� need� of� � environment� sustainability� and� as�agreed� in� the� MoU� with� Govt.� we� are� � implementing� the� Rain� water�Harvesting�system�in�PDIL�office�and�PDIL�Group�Housing�Society.��
